About Dr. Asaf Yalif

Asaf Yalif, M.D., is an internationally recognized, double board-certified plastic surgeon and the founding doctor of Y Plastic Surgery. He offers consultations, follow-ups, and a variety of non-invasive procedures from the practice’s three offices in the greater Atlanta area—Alpharetta, Roswell, and Woodstock. He also performs a range of surgeries at local hospitals where he has medical privileges.

Dr. Yalif is highly experienced in breast surgeries (enhancement, reduction, revision, and reconstruction), face and body contouring procedures (tummy tucks, mommy makeovers, body lifts, neck lifts, and liposuction), facial cosmetic surgery, nonsurgical rejuvenation treatments, and hand and upper extremity surgeries. 

In addition to surgical procedures, Dr. Yalif performs a number of nonsurgical rejuvenation treatments, including BOTOX® injections and other dermal fillers, ThermiVa, ThermiSmooth, and more.

Education & Training

Dr. Yalif earned his undergraduate degree in biology and his medical degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey at the same time in one of the few prestigious programs of its kind available in the United States. After graduating with honors, Dr. Yalif moved to New York City where he completed his general surgery residency, served as chief resident, and earned several awards for academic achievement and clinical excellence at Beth Israel Medical Center. 

Dr. Yalif also led clinical research for publication in several national peer-reviewed journals. He completed his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery and served as chief resident at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. Yalif completed his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at SUNY in Buffalo, New York, where he also served as chief resident.

Lecturer & Author

As an accomplished and internationally recognized speaker as well as a renowned leader in the medical field, Dr. Yalif regularly gives lectures around the country about national trends in surgical and nonsurgical plastic, general, and hand survey procedures. He has authored numerous innovative articles in multiple peer-reviewed medical journals.

Additionally, Dr. Yalif has held leadership roles in the Atlanta community and at the hospitals where he has privileges. He served as the Vice Chairman of the Department of Surgery at WellStar North Fulton Regional Hospital and also as its Chairman.
