Bio


Dr. Goodman’s specializes in pediatric sports medicine and concussion management.

Dr. Goodman completed her undergraduate training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. After completing her pediatric training at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, she recently completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. During her fellowship she was the Principal Investigator in a study focusing on patellofemoral pain in middle and high school athletes. Dr. Goodman worked at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the Division of Orthopedic Surgery from 2008-2014 treating pediatric and adolescent athletes and research on concussions. I was named Top Doc for Kids: Sports Medicine by .SJ Magazine for the past 3 years.

Dr. Goodman’s special interests include: concussions in pediatric athletes, pediatric injuries, stress fractures, overuse injuries in pediatric athletes and injury prevention.
