I went to see Dr Mesa in late June with severe back pain. He prescribed some medications for my pain and ordered an MRI for me. He also ordered two epidural nerve blocks for me to be performed at an outpatient surgery center. The MRI was performed on June 29th of this year. I called his office four different times to get the results of my MRI and speak to the Dr. I was told repeatedly that someone would call me back. Today, July 18th, I called again and was again told that a nurse would call me back. I have yet to find out what the MRI said. I have canceled my nerve blocks and would never recommend Dr. Mesa to anyone. The lack of follow up, professionalism and caring shown in my case is unbelievable. He runs a factory of patients over there and I was just a number. He should be ashamed of the way he runs his practice. I am so upset that this is the first time I ever right a review on anyone. I will also send a follow up letter to him.
