Dr. Gersh will be joining our practice fulltime May 20, 2013. She is moving from King, NC where she has practiced in a similar outpatient practice. Her husband Jacob moved to Greenville to take a job as a radiation physicist at a radiation therapy center for cancer patients. Dr. Gersh grew up in Canada, but has lived in the south long enough to relate to Southerners. She trained at UNC Chapel, medical school at Nova Southeastern in Ft, Lauderdale Florida, and Wake Forest University for residency. She is a DO (doctor of osteopathy) and board certified in family medicine. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine, but especially women, adolescent, mental health, minor skin procedures and joint care.
