Dr. Angelo Lapietra graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in 1994.

Cardiothoracic Surgery

Dr. Lapietra may perform both minimally invasive or invasive procedures ranging from angioplasty to open heart surgery or transplant surgeries.

Thoracic Surgery
Following rigorous and lengthy training, thoracic surgeons are uniquely qualified to perform complex surgeries on the chest, or thorax as it is sometimes called. Their focus is usually on the lungs, esophagus, and other areas of the chest, and may also include the heart. As such, Dr. Lapietra may see patients in Florida for a wide range of surgeries, for example removing cancer causing tumors from the esophagus and chest wall, or even a lung transplant.

Dr. Angelo Lapietra is a cardiac surgeon dedicated to the surgical treatment of cardiovascular and heart ailments. These may include rheumatic, ischemic, endocarditis, atherosclerosis, and valvular, or congenital heart disease.
