Bio

Dr. Germanovich completed a fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the “Best in the West” fellowship program at the University of California Los Angeles. There he learned a wide variety of interventional techniques for the treatment of facial pain, headaches, cancer pain, neck and back pain, CRPS I and II, pancreatic pain, arthritic joint and spine pain, pain due to disorders of nerves (shingles, diabetic neuropathy, radiculopathy), muscles and vertebral compression fractures.

His particular areas of interest are postural biomechanics and musculoskeletal pain due to short leg syndrome, psoas syndrome and chest wall pain due to slipped rib syndrome. He is an active member of the American Board of Anesthesiology, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, American Osteopathic Association, World Institute of Pain, and the North American Neuromodulation Society.

Dr. Germanovich is very hands-on in his approach to diagnosis and treatment of pain conditions. His philosophy is that a thorough physical exam is crucial for any treatment to be successful.

He uses a multi-modal treatment approach for every patient utilizing a combination of medications, vitamins, therapeutic exercise, manual manipulation, heel lifts and braces, spine, joint and nerve injections with Synvisc, steroids and stem cells, spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal drug delivery systems.
