As part of the Capital Women’s Care offices in Arlington and McLean, Virginia, Andrea Williams, MD, MPH, FACOG, can provide patient-centered services to women in this area. Dr. Williams graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia before moving on to Boston University to study medicine and to Harvard University to obtain a master’s in public health. She did her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the prestigious Georgetown University Hospital while focusing her attention on maternal and child health care along with international public health. Once her studies were complete, Dr. Williams founded Women to Women, P.C., a practice dedicated to complete OB/GYN care. Her goal then and now is to offer women the personalized and supportive care they deserve in a place that is friendly to ladies of all backgrounds. The services she provides cover all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology, including adolescent care and high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Williams has been nominated for Washingtonian Top Doctors and Northern Virginia Magazine for several years. As a specialist in both women’s health and international public health, Dr. Williams enjoys traveling and has provided services in East Africa and Honduras. She is committed to extending quality health care to the women in developing countries, as well. Dr. Williams is fluent in Swahili and also speaks Spanish.
