Originally from Simpsonville, Dr. O'Kelly graduated from Furman University with a degree in Chemistry. She went on to medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and subsequently completed her Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency at Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center. She is board eligible in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. In addition to caring for patients of all ages at Heritage Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, she also teaches in the pediatric residency program at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Dr. O'Kelly lives in Simpsonville with her dog Charlie. She is particularly interested in well child care, preventative medicine, and diabetes care. She also enjoys medical missions and has traveled to South Africa and Brazil.
Dr. O'Kelly is trained as a primary care specialist, practicing both internal medicine and pediatrics. This combined specialty is sometimes shortened to "Med Peds". Dr. O'Kelly provides ongoing and comprehensive medical care for those of all ages by drawing upon training in both medical specialties.
