Dr. Alexandra Sowa is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician who serves patients at myMD Medical Group. She specializes in the treatment of obesity, and she’s a diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Sowa completed her undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University. She continued her education at the New University School of Medicine, where she earned her Doctorate of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency. When she isn’t practicing medicine, Dr. Sowa works as a media contributor and medical writer.
