Dr. Alana has called Houston her home for over 12 years. She is double board certified in Pediatrics & Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. She has vast experience in all aspects of general pediatric care, from healthy newborns to the most complicated and chronically ill children. She is currently accepting new general pediatric patients, as well as hematology or new potential oncology patients, helping them navigate a difficult time with their medical care.

Dr. Alana is married to Dr. Dean Nasser, a local pulmonary and critical care physician, and is the mother of four children, ranging from 8 to 22 years old. She has a strong belief in family, preventive medicine, proper nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle. In her spare time, she is an enthusiastic runner and triathlete, having completed eight Ironman triathlons, including the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii in 2012 and 2014. She recently qualified for her third trip to Kona, which will take place in October 2016.
