Dr. Alan Carlson graduated from Duke University School of Medicine in 1981 before completing a residency in Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine from 1983 to 1986. He then completed a fellowship in Corneal and Refractive Surgery at Cullen Eye Institute, Baylor Colleg from 1986 to 1987.
