Dr. Alan Kaynard graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University School Of Medicine in 1997 before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR from 1998 to 2000. He then completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) from 2000 to 2003.
