Dr. Parikh was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He began his training at The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with Special Honors in Biochemistry. Dr. Parikh received a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from The University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. He completed three years of General Psychiatry Residency training at The University of Kansas Medical Center where he received the Hellings Award for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. Dr. Parikh completed a final year of postgraduate training in Austin, Texas as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Resident.
