I had always had an interest in surgery, but I was drawn specifically to urology because of the diverse array of surgical procedures and treatment options I could use to help people.I serve as the chief of the urology service at Tisch Hospital. My team and I offer the latest surgical and medical treatments to people with kidney cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and other cancerous urologic conditions. I am an expert in performing complicated procedures, such as radical cystectomy and urinary reconstruction for the removal of large bladder tumors, partial nephrectomy for the removal of cancerous tissue from the kidneys, and radical prostatectomy for the removal of prostate cancers.Ive been performing these procedures for nearly a decade. I use traditional methods as well as the latest in advanced, minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques at the Robotic Surgery Center, where I serve as co-director. My goal is always to provide the best possible outcome.
