Helpful StaffDr. Marks saw our 9 year old daughter in March. She had a debilitating headache that started in the summer of 2014 and was constant since August 2014. She also had neck/leg/back/foot pain, severe and increasing double vision, and an MRI that showed a Chiari Malformation. Instead of listening to her symptoms and helping us, he implied that my husband and I were causing the headache by bringing attention to it and taking her to the doctor. He ignored all symptoms other than the headache and called her hypersensitive. He suggested hospitalization and IV migraine meds, though she had no real sign of a migraine, as well as biofeedback. We sought a different opinion from a neurosurgeon in a different city. Our daughter\'s intracranial pressure before decompression surgery was a 42, not the normal less than 5. We are now four weeks post op and our daughter finally does not have a headache. She also does not have the other body pain and her vision is much improved. I am glad we did not listen to Dr. Marks. He was recommended as a fantastic neurologist who would look for answers. That was no where close to our experience. He seemed to have decided a treatment plan for our daughter before we ever entered his office and was rude, arrogant, and just plain wrong.
