We want to be a part of your health care team.
I have been a patient. I grew up a sick kid in a family of surgeons. My approach to being a member of YOUR health care team is to perform the best surgery, in the most precise way, correct the first time and then focus on getting you through the recovery.
As a general surgeon in Washington, Dr. Berg performs a range of of surgeries and operations, usually focusing on areas and organs of the abdomen and their related organs. Dr. Berg may utilize invasive or minimally-invasive surgical techniques, with the latter reducing recovery time and stress on the patient's body.
Vascular surgeons are trained to evaluate and treat complications and diseases of the circulatory system including arteries, veins, and blood vessels. Dr. Berg may offer a range of surgical and non-surgical treatments, including the removal of plaque from arteries, treatment of varicose veins, and surgery to prevent aneurysms, heart attacks or coronary artery disease, among others.
