Dr Timothy Davis MD is the Founder and Medical Director of Orthopedic Pain Specialists and considered an expert in minimally invasive approaches to treat neck, back, and nerve pain. He has been involved in multiple research research projects using biological therapies to treat degenerative disc disease and has published and presented nationally and internationally.
Dr Davis has been involved in some of the original clinical work studying the effects of Stem Cells on the lumbar disc. He is currently on the scientific advisory board on stem cells and is one of few people in the country working on autologous stem cell harvest from the hip to treat spinal disorders and joint arthritis.
Dr Davis has developed and patented intellectual property in electrodiagnostics, biologics, and spinal implants.
Dr Davis is originally from Lake of the Ozarks Missouri, and attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine 6 year Program. He graduating with a combined BA/MD at 24 years of age. He then completed a surgical internship at Ochnser Clinic in New Orleans Louisiana. He then completed his Residency in Physiatry at the University of California Los Angeles.
