About Dr. Owen
Dr. Owen

Bio


Dr. Sylvia Owen is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.  She is a member of the American Medical Association and the Montana Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Owen received her undergraduate degree from Oregon State University, and her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. After completing internship in Salt Lake City, she returned to Duke where she completed her dermatology residency.

After practicing in Bend, Oregon for several years, she was invited to practice in Kalispell in 2005 and has since called the Flathead Valley home. Dr. Owen enjoys bicycling, telemark skiing, archery, hunting, and hiking. When she’s not working or in the outdoors, you might find her sorting through photos from her international travels.
