In addition to being a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist, I act as the Vice President of Virginia Eye Consultants. I place a particular emphasis on treating those looking to improve their vision through procedures such as corneal transplantation, refractive surgery and cataract surgery. Our practice is committed to providing outstanding eye care while utilizing the best technology available. By doing so, we can offer shorter recovery times and improved reliability, with advanced treatments like LASIK. In addition, all of the doctors at our practice are at the top of their field and have devoted themselves to serving patients with conditions such as dry eye, glaucoma, astigmatism and conjunctivitis.
Aside from helping patients, I am passionate about contributing to the medical community. In fact, the doctors at Virginia Eye Consultants complete more clinical research in ophthalmology than any other practice in Virginia. As I strive to advance the field of ophthalmology, I remain committed to leading the Virginia Eye Consultants team and helping patients maintain excellent eye health.
As an ophthalmologist in VA, Dr. Stephen Scoper is trained to diagnose, treat, and manage diseases or trauma of the eye.
