Came in with a specific skin condition and it was something i had in the past...knew exactly what it was, brought my notes and history and explanation. But the doc said i had a different problem, and prescribed meds for it, and unnecessary antibiotics. Neither med was covered by my insurance & would have been $200. The front office was not great...told me when i checked in that i needed prior authorization/referral but i could get it later ...I left a message at my GP to get referral faxed over, but they didn't do that or Dr Cheng's office didn't get it or something but they just charged me the full visit $110 and hounded me before turning it over to collections. I talked to ppl in my family & tracked down prescription cream I needed & the rash cleared up in 12 hours (it had persisted for 3 weeks).
