Dr. Sigman performed a subchondroplasty on my right knee to treat two extensive stress fractures of the kneecap. The pain got so bad I had to stop running and any other high impact activities and after conferencing with Dr. Sigman and his staff, I decided to have this procedure. The staff at the surgery center was very profession and courteous and the center was immaculate as well as very convenient . The procedure went smoothly and I was able to walk out to the car under my own power. As informed Days 2-5 were the most painful but after that the pain subsided daily and I was able to return to low impact activities after 8 days under the direction of Dr. Sigman. The overall experience was very positive and I would recommend Dr. Sigman and his entire staff to anyone needing treatment or surgery to improve their heath and maintain an active lifestyle.

In January 2016 I had my right rotator cuff repaired using the traditional procedure at a hospital close to Boston. The recovery was as follows... 3 days of pain meds after the nerve block wore off, 4 weeks in a sling, 4 weeks to drive, 5 weeks PT, no strength for 3 months, been 14 months and it's 80%. Dr Sigman repaired my left arm March 13 2017, I took one of the pain pills after the nerve block wore off and then just took Ibuprofen as needed.. I wore the sling for One day, day 4 after the surgery I drove myself to PT! PT people couldn't believe my range of motion or use, no pain! I don't have any restrictions except lifting anything heavier than a gallon of milk and it's been less than 2 weeks!!!! I was dreading having to go through what I had to do for my right arm. The repair Dr Sigman performed has accelerated the healing process by no less than 10 TIMES!!! I forgot to Mention the most important thing... He Cares

I was scheduled for normal rotator cuff surgery on a Tuesday. The week before I found out by chance about a fairly new procedure (3-4 years) which Dr. Sigman performs. Although he was on vacation, he agreed to meet with me on Monday before my procedure. Instead of 6 weeks in a sling, I wore a sling for one evening only because of the pain block provided before surgery. Within 3 days I no longer needed pain medication but only Ibuprofen. No PT was needed as I was able to do exercises at home. Within 10 days, I was able to drive and my husband and I were on vacation in Turks and Caicos. Although I could not lift anything except a cup or glass, I had wonderful range of motion. I am now 6 weeks out of surgery and range of motion is even better and I am able to add light weight to my exercises. This procedure is definitely the way to go if you need rotator cuff surgery. I have heard many horror stories about the normal rotator cuff surgery and the long recovery time. So happy I found out about Dr. Sigman. He and his staff are absolutely wonderful to deal with and I would highly recommend anyone with rotator cuff isses see him.

I tore my Patellar Tendon in July of 2016. This was a difficult injury and Dr. Scott Sigman and his team (Kristen Proverb) were amazing. My range of motion is back to 130 degrees and my quad is back to 75% of its strength. He is truly amazing and I would highly recommend him for your knee or shoulder surgeries.

Very good experience. 11 weeks post surgery and feeling only limited isolated pain sparingly after partial right shoulder rotator cuff repair. Very pleased with my recovery so far. Each visit Dr. Sigman was on time, prompt and made sure all my questions were answered. Dr. Sigman is very confident, which I liked.

I had a total knee replacement 4 months ago and had such a great experience with Dr. Sigman, Kristen Proverb and the entire staff. From the first time I met Dr. Sigman, he gave me great advice and made me feel like he really cared about making the best recommendation for me. He did not rush me into surgery, but instead recommended PT and other treatments to try to help me with my chronic pain. But, when I said enough, Dr. Sigman walked me and my husband through the knee replacement process and I ended up with the new knee. It has been incredible. I have already been scuba diving, hiking, ballroom dancing.....enjoying many of the things I had not been able to achieve on the "old" knee. I always felt like I was in great hands and that I was getting the best possible care! Thank you, Dr. Sigman. I have my life back. My husband thanks you as well! He is equally happy to have is wife back.

Underwent arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery at the end of June and here I am returning back to work (without restriction) in the middle of September. Needless to say I am extremely pleased with the results. From the initial consultation, through surgery and the multiple follow-up visits Dr. Sigman and his staff were everything that you would expect from a cohesive team of medical professionals.

Dr. Sigman is a great doctor! My shoulder was a mess from an injury during wrestling and was in discomfort. Dr, Sigman did all the tests and determined it required surgery to fix. His staff worked with me as I go to school out of state to plan it around my summer schedule. The surgery went smoothly and I am on the road to recovery faster than I ever expected. Dr. Sigman and his staff are pleasure to work with. I would recommend Dr. Sigman to anyone who needs a great Ortho doctor!

Have seen Dr. Sigman several times due to shoulder and knee problems and have always come away feeling very confident in his diagnosis. Both he and his staff have always been very professional and put their patients at ease. Recently I had a total knee replacement after putting it off for about 2 yrs. I wish I had done it 2 yrs. ago. After only 8 weeks the knee feels better than it had for the previous 2 years. I could not have been happier with the results of the surgery and the care I received.

I have had Dr. Sigman work on both my knees and all went very well. Dr. Sigman, Kristen and staff are the best, very professional and caring. You go into see them, they tell what you need to get done, and they get done right the first time. I would never let any other group professionals of work on me. They are great from the front desk to your followup visit. Thank you Dr, Sigman and staff

This is my second time around having a rotator cuff repaired .... my first surgery was done about 15 years ago at Brigham & Women's Hospital on my right shoulder ... recovery time was very long, painful and strenuous and I was out of work for about 9 months .... Dr. Sigman repaired my left rotator cuff arthroscopically which had a full thickness tear less than two months ago .... I just finished my 5th week of PT and I am amazed at how rapidly I am progressing and plan on returning to work very soon ... not only is he an exceptional surgeon with a great team assisting him ... he is also a very down to earth guy and very approachable ... I couldn't be any happier with the outcome from my surgery and can't say enough about Dr. Sigman and his great staff.

Dr. Sigman is a great doctor. He performed shoulder surgery on me and he was excellent with it. I was able to start working in a week. Within three months I was able to perform all my day to day activities. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Sigman is kind and is performing an advanced shoulder surgery to repair a tear. I have been experiencing shoulder pain for the past 6 years. I had surgery 10 days ago and the pain I am experiencing now is intense but it is different than the pain before surgery. I am expecting a full recovery.
