Sarah Rossetter was born in Dayton, Ohio. She is the middle of three children and was the first female from her mother’s side of the family to earn a college diploma. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a doctorate of medicine, both from Wright State University near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. She completed psychiatry residency in 2015 and has been practicing medicine independently since then.
Sarah has extensive past clinical experience in community mental health and is currently working as a staff psychiatrist in a residential rehabilitation facility for military veterans. She is passionate about decreasing overprescribing/polypharmacy and helping her patients live healthy, rich lives.
Psychiatrists are primary care doctors for the mind. Dr. Rossetter focuses on treating the overall mental well-being in patients, capable of diagnosing & treating the various types of mental illness. These may include depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder or anxiety disorders, for example. Dr. Rossetter may provide treatment options ranging from medication management plans to different forms of therapy.
