Where Medicine Meets Life
Dr. Freeman has built a successful career in Primary Care serving the communities of Lynnwood, Bothell, South Everett and surrounding communities since 1998. She attributes her success to her firm believe that "good medicine cannot be rushed". Taking time to listen is the key component of making sound decisions. Starting her medical practice in May of 2018 has provided the opportunity to create a clinic environment that provides a very high standard of care.Dr. Freeman says "I get a great deal of satisfaction from helping patients get well, and even more from helping them stay well". As part of her commitment to her patients' health and well being, Dr. Freeman has added a gym as an integral part of her Primary Care Practice. The gym is run by a certified trainer who uses a technique called CardioFit. CardioFit is a low impact program that offers and efficient and effective way to improve cardiovascular fitness while strengthening and toning. The results have been astounding. Having a gym within the clinic has improved patient compliance with exercise programs. Patients have reported improvements in their strength, mobility and reductions in blood pressure in as little as 3 months.Dr. Freeman feels that this is an excellent model for the future of Primary Care from a patient health perspective. In addition, these simple measures will ultimately reduce health care costs in years to come.
The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Freeman specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. When necessary, Dr. Freeman can also refer patients to specialist physicians when medically needed. As an example, patients with severe liver problems could be referred to a hepatologist for additional medical tests or treatments.
