Dr. Connor completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin and his Master's degree in Biomedical Science at Barry University in Miami, Florida. He received the doctor of medicine degree from Texas Tech University Science Center in Lubbock. He was appointed to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received the Award for Excellence in the Art and Science of Medicine. After medical school, he completed his residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Texas Tech University Health Science Center.
Dr. Connor is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a clinical assistant professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Connor provides comprehensive orthopaedic care to all his patients.
Dr. Connor has a special interest in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, gender specific knee replacement, ankle fractures, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Dr. Connor was named in SA Scene's list of SA Doctors: Best of 2014.
As an orthopedic surgeon in Texas, Dr. Connor is trained to diagnose and treat all types of injuries to the musculoskeletal system, including the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. After arriving at a specific diagnosis, Dr. Connor will generally resort to surgery when all other treatment methods have been exhausted or ruled out. Patients may require the care of an orthopedic surgeon for fractures, torn ligaments, sprains, sports injuries, and more.
