About Dr. Reeves
Dr. Reeves

We at Destin Recovery Center use evidence-based medicine and treat addiction as a chronic disease. Let me say that again, we treat the disease of addiction and substance abuse with the same rigorous methodology as you would treat diabetes, heart disease or depression. Treatment involves the latest science that combines medical therapy and private, one-on-one counseling.

This complex disease involves changes in the structure and function of the brain. Treatment needs to involve the mind, body, and soul. This requires not only therapists and peer groups, but the ongoing involvement of a physician.

I am committed to helping individuals RECOVER. Destin Recovery offers real treatment to people with drug and alcohol addiction problems though the various transitional stages of recovery and moves them towards being a self-managed individual in control of their own life. Our Rehabilitation Center's evidence-based medical approach to recovery incorporates a variety of treatment programs that ultimately focus on learning or regaining life skills that enable long-term recovery and prevent relapse.
