Dr Richard Briggs graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1976 with a B.S. in Medical Technology. He continued his education with a B.A. in Microbiology with Honors in 1978. He then graduated from Texas Tech University Medical School in 1983.
Dr. Briggs began his private ophthalmology practice in 1988 and became Board Certified in Ophthalmology in 1990. He began practicing in Austin, TX in 1993.
