I feel it is important to look at the Big Picture with patients when assessing their health and well being. While treating the illness that the patient has today, it is important to talk about how it will affect their future, their family, and to discuss the best possible outcome for all. I take into account a patients' physical and social needs in order to help them make positive changes that are in their best interest, and ones that will last a lifetime.
