Dr. Rachel Shu is a board-certified OB-GYN and surgeon treating patients from throughout the Bay Area at both the Downtown San Francisco and Laurel Village offices of San Francisco Women’s Healthcare, Inc. Dr. Shu treats a variety of conditions including pelvic pain, pelvic prolapse, vaginal dryness, menopause, and infertility. She is also a co-founder and partner of the practice.After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Washington University with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry, Dr. Shu went on to the University of Missouri – Columbia to earn her medical degree. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke’s Hospital/ University of Missouri – Kansas City. Dr. Shu is a member of the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, the San Francisco Medical Society, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.Dr. Shu stays up to date with the most innovative laparoscopic and gynecologic surgical techniques to ensure that she provides her patients with the best possible care.
