Completely unprofessional. Refuses to answer questions, violated my consent by performing a procedure I refused, did a reduction instead of the agreed upon augmentation, destroyed the shape of my breasts, refused to correct or allow his partner to correct the poor surgical results, unless I agreed to allow him to test out different implants on me. The whole office is trained to pad bills, disregard patient concerns, and cover for each other. There is no consideration for patient rights, safety, or what is in the best interest of the patient. They appear very nice, until the check clears and a patient tries to question............

Hampton Roads Plastic Surgeon – Plastic Surgeon Dr. Vonu
Dr. Vonu was named a Top Doc 2013 in Hampton Roads Magazine’s “Best of the 757″ and a Top Plastic Surgeon for 2013 by Virginia Living Magazine.
Local Hampton Roads plastic surgeon Peter Vonu, MD, received his medical degree and completed his surgical residency at the Medical College of Ohio. During his plastic surgery residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Dr. Vonu discovered his greatest interest was in cosmetic procedures and went on to continue his training in cosmetic surgery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Vonu is a local Hampton Roads plastic surgeon, board certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was named in Hampton Roads Magazine‘s Top Doc’s Hall of Fame in Plastic Surgery. He is an active member in many professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, Lipoplasty Society of North America, and the Medical Society of Virginia.
At the age of five, Dr. Vonu was inspired by his pediatrician and decided to become a physician. He never wavered from that choice. When asked why he chose plastic surgery as a specialty, Dr. Vonu said, “It offers me the luxury of being both a physician and an artist. I enjoy developing a vision with my patient and then bringing it to fruition.” This collaborative approach is much appreciated by his patients. He takes his obligations as a doctor very seriously, wanting to give his patients the best possible result while minimizing their exposure to risks.
Plastic surgeons perform a wide variety of surgeries that can restore or correct the form and function of the human body, which can be either cosmetic or reconstructive in nature. Dr. Vonu is able to correct abnormalities of the body that may be causing adverse health effects, or perform surgeries to correct malformations caused by birth defects, trauma, tumors or disease. He also performs elective surgeries, which patients undergo to improve the aesthetic appearance of a certain body part.
A hand surgeon in Virginia, Dr. Vonu cares for injuries and complications of the hand, fingers, wrist, forearm, elbow and shoulder. Dr. Vonu is specifically trained to diagnose each patient and determine whether or not surgical intervention is medically necessary, as surgery is usually seen as a last resort when other treatment methods have been exhausted. As a result, treatment can be surgical or non-surgical in nature.
