Dr Coppola graduated from Georgetown Medical School and did his OB-Gyn Resdency training at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.  He is an Assistant Cllinical Professor at Yale University Medical School and Attending Physician at Yale New Haven Hospital.  He has been in practice since 1973.

His philosophy for practice is patient centered with an emphasis on preventive health, education and individualized patient care. He strongly believes that personal and individualized medical care focusing on the physical, emotional and social needs of each patient in a comfortable environment is what provides good outcomes. This is why he became a physician and It has been his privilege to care for so many patients over the 40 years he has been in practice. The practice is fee for service and does not participate in any insurance in order to reduce cost and maximize the time spent on patient care rather then the complexity of computers and billing. Patients are provided with documents to submit to their insurance for non-participating providers.

Some of the services offered are: General Gynecology and Preventive Women's Health. Family planning and contraceptive care. Basic infertility evaluation and management. Postmenopausal evaulation and counselling. Osteoporosis screening and treatment. Incontinence and pelvic relaxation disorders.  Colposcopy and treatment of abnormal pap smear.
