Doctor Octavio Carreño is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He received his Doctorate of Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Carreño has been a Staff Otolaryngologist in South Florida since 2011, providing comprehensive treatment for ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions for adults and children in the Miami and South Florida area.
With over 20 years of medical experience, Dr. Carreño is also a proud Navy veteran and served with the Marines as a Senior Trauma Surgeon deployed during combat operations in Afghanistan. Dr. Carreño received a Navy/Marine Corps commendation medal in 2002 for distinguished service during “Operation Swift Freedom/Enduring Freedom”. He was praised for his leadership and surgical skills.
Dr. Carreño applies the skills he learned during his military service towards all of his patients. He is dedicated to helping individuals who suffer from ENT problems.
