I have been serving the Grand Forks community for nearly 32 years. I started the cardiac invasive laboratory at the hospital in 1982 and I performed the first coronary angiogram in Grand Forks in 1982 and the first stent procedure in 1996 in Grand Forks.

I am board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.

I have been teaching at the Medical School since 1982 and became a Professor of Medicine. I have received 5 awards for teaching excellence.

I had one of my research paper published in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine in 1992.

I am also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physician (FCCP).
