Dr. Nehad Soloman graduated from SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine in 1999 before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY from 1999 to 2002. He then completed a fellowship in Rheumatology at Winthrop University Hospital from 2002 to 2004.
Dr. Soloman has three offices in Arizona where he specializes in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.
Rheumatologists are specialized physicians who treat arthritis and other rheumatic diseases—those that affect the muscles, joints and bones. Dr. Soloman can diagnose and treat highly complex conditions, including those that affect other organs and systems like the brain, kidneys, blood vessels or lungs. Conditions treated may include rheumatoid arthritis, gout, lupus, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and fibromyalgia, among many others.
The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Soloman specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. He may also refer patients to specialist physicians when medically needed. For instance, patients with serious heart problems could be referred to a cardiologist for further diagnostic tests or therapies.
