Neena E. Thomas-Eapen, M.D., FAAFP is Associate Director of the UND Center for Family Medicine, Minot. Dr. Thomas-Eapen graduated from Medical College, Trivandrum, University of Kerala, India. She is a graduate of the same residency program, a community based training program of UND Medical Schoo,l where she won the ‘Resident of the Year’ award from the community faculty. She worked as a family physician at Trinity Hospital in Minot for four years. She had further training in Integrative
Medicine and completed the Residential Fellowship, founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, at the University of Arizona in Tucson in 2007. She was Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the department and the resident advocate of the program from 2003 - 2006. She joined the residency as full time faculty in 2007. She is a senior graduate fellow of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. Her interests include office procedures, spirituality in health, mind-body medicine, healthy living, nutrition, botanicals, and complementary therapies.
