Recommends Available On Time Friendly Professional KnowledgeableOne word AMAZING man!!!! I've worked in and around the medical field all my life. I've known many Cardiologist in my career (and most are arrogant ********), but in November of 2016 I walked into the local ER in the middle of a STMI (yes I walked in because it didn't feel like I would have imagined it should have). Dr. Bates was in his last week of working with this hospital before moving on to better things, but agreed to take on my case anyway. I ended up with a new mitral valve and double bypass and he was great!!! Bedside manner was amazing, he was straight and to the point (he doesn't sugar coat things), he never talks down to you and treats you like you were his sister or brother giving you everything he has and the best possible care!!!!! Much love and respect to you Dr. Bates and your ENTIRE team!!!!!
