Nancy G. Swartz, MS, MD, FACS is an oculoplastic and cosmetic surgeon specializing in cosmetic eyelid surgery, Botox, and dermal filler treatments.
Dr. Swartz received her Master’s degree in Psychological Services and studied Counseling Psychology in the Ph.D. program at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her MD at the Medical College of Pennsylvania where she was endorsed by the AOA Honor Medical Society. She then completed a residency in ophthalmology at Scheie Eye Institute of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Swartz continued her training at Wills Eye Hospital, where she completed fellowships in Neuro-Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Swartz is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. She is the Director of the Facial Rejuvenation Program at the Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
In addition, she is on the teaching staff of Wills Eye Hospital, and has served on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Swartz also teaches cosmetic surgery to cosmetic surgeons throughout the world. She is married to her partner, Dr. Marc Cohen, and they have five wonderful children.
Specializing in the field of cosmetic surgery, Dr. Swartz performs surgical and non-surgical procedures to improve or restore the aesthetics of a specific feature of body part. Cosmetic surgery may include rhinoplasty (or "nose jobs"), chin reshaping, face or necklifts, lipsuction or tummy tucks. A mainstay of cosmetic surgery, breast procedures such as breast augmentation, reduction, or lifts are among the most popular procedures performed by cosmetic surgeons.
