I am also skilled in performing breast augmentation and sarcoma reconstruction. An alumn of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, I completed my residency in general surgery at Berkshire Medical Center. Shortly after, I began residency training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The Ohio State University – where I am now a professor of surgery and the Chair of the Department of Plastic Surgery – and later underwent a Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellowship at Tulane University. I am dedicated to conducting research related to topics such as tissue repair and regeneration, and I am an active member in a number of prestigious organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons.
