Dr. Mel Rosenblatt is a vascular and interventional radiologist specializing in the proper diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of conditions including venous and arterial disease, particularly in their most complex forms. The first in Connecticut to perform endovascular laser ablation and endovascular radiofrequency ablation, he continues to pioneer and improve diagnosis and treatment of venous disease in all its incarnations. Dr. Rosenblatt derives the greatest satisfaction from taking care of his patients. His goal is to provide them with the highest level of expertise, as well as continuity of care, bringing to bear years of experience at Yale University School of Medicine and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Availability to his patients is of paramount importance to him and rapid responsiveness is one of the hallmarks of his practice. After earning his MD at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, Dr. Rosenblatt completed his residency at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, followed by a fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He is board certified in Radiology and Interventional Radiology, certificated in Phlebology, and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Interventional Radiology.
