Dr. Meera Sohail presently serves as the Medical Director for Optimum Care Network Inc. She has been in clinical medical practice for over sixteen years. She has practiced at nation’s top Academic institutions over the last nine years. She served as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Internal Medicine at University of California Irvine, where she has been on the faculty from 2014-2017. She also served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine Yeshiva University, from 2009-2014.
Her clinical interests are in chronic disease management including diabetes, hypertension, chronic heart disease and respiratory diseases. She runs a geriatric clinic which focuses on the care of older adults with dementia and other chronic medical conditions.
Dr. Sohail believes in empowering patients by educating and engaging them in their disease management strategies. She also works closely with other care providers to ensure delivery of high quality outcomes and comprehensive patient care.
