Born and raised in Texas, and certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, I have been in private practice since 1991. In addition to leading our team as the founder of All-Star Orthopaedics, I am a clinical instructor at my alma mater, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. My emphasis is in general orthopaedics, adult and adolescent sports medicine, joint replacement, and arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder. Fellowship-trained in sports medicine, I have been recognized as the Board Member of the Year at the Infant Intervention Center and I serve as a chairman at the Irving Coppell Surgical Hospital. To advance professionally, and maintain my reputation as one of the most respected orthopaedic surgeons in the region, I stay active in the medical community. I hold memberships in a number of professional organizations, including the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the American Sports Medicine Fellowship Society, and the American Medical Association.
Being an orthopedic surgeon in Texas, Dr. Greenberg is qualified to treat and diagnose all forms of damage to the musculoskeletal system, such as the bones, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and joints. Following a diagnosis, Dr. Greenberg will typically prescribe surgery when less-invasive treatments have failed to produce the desired results or have been ruled out. Patients might need the care and attention of an orthopedic surgeon for sports injuries, sprains, torn ligaments, fractures, and more.
Sports medicine physicians are trained to provide treatment and prevention plans for those participating in sports and related physical activities. Dr. Greenberg is trained to treat complications such as muscle tears and strains, concussions, tendon and ligament damage, shin splints, sports hernias, fractures, and a variety of others. Treatments may include rehabilitation services, therapies and a variety of surgical operations, among others.
