The specialty of head and neck tumor management has significantly evolved over the past 10 to 20 years. I am proud to have contributed to many of the modern advances in treatment for patients with head and neck cancers through my work at NYU Langones Perlmutter Cancer Center., My contributions have resulted in even more personalized therapy for patients and have improved overall cure rates and functional outcomes for patients following surgical treatment., Working at NYU Langone allows me to remain committed to teaching medical students and residents at NYU School of Medicine. My students are an important part of my professional legacy and represent the bright future of otolaryngology and its subspecialty, head and neck surgery.
