I had the most terrible experience with this doctor. He was rude and demeaning throughout the session, tried to make a ridiculous diagnosis that my tight TMJ (which has been tight my whole life) was causing acute shooting pain in my tonsils and pressure in my ear, which I shot down, and after that, he got incredibly defensive and even nastier. He gave up on doing anything for me. By the end of the appointment, I had to resist crying I was so annoyed and frustrated with him.

Dr. Mark L. Fox is a graduate of New York Medical College. He has been practicing medicine for over thirty years. He was a resident in general surgery at the Metropolitan Hospital Center in NYC, after medical school. He subsequently did a residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, where he also served as chief resident.
Dr. Fox is a member of the New York Head & Neck Society and has been President of the New York State Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, the New York Laryngologic Society and the Westchester County Medical Society. Dr. Fox is a board-certified Otolaryngologist-Head & Neck Surgeon and is affiliated with Lawrence Hospital Center, Sound Shore Medical Center, St. John’s Riverside Hospital and Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Mount Sinai.
