Margaret Zak, M.D., is a board-certified family physician.  Native of Poland, Dr. Zak received her medical degree at the Medical Academy of Bialystok. She moved to the United States at the age of 26 and settled with her parents in a suburb of Chicago.  In 2003 she moved again, this time to Northern Texas, to pursue residency training in family medicine.

In 2006 Dr. Zak put down roots in Electra, TX.  In the course of next seven years, she built a successful independent practice that catered to the needs of rural community.  Being one of only two doctors in the area allowed her to care for a wide range of patients.  As a consequence, her skill-set spans areas of pediatrics, women’s health, chronic disease management, eldercare and emergency medicine.

Dr. Zak currently lives in Grapevine with her husband, two school-age kids and a whole slew of animals.  In her leisure time she enjoys simple pleasures: gardening and sewing.  You can also see her performing folk dances at various Texas cultural events with Jagoda Dance Ensemble.  She feels privileged to care for and be a part of her patients’ lives.​
