Dr. Pieniek joined HeartPlace in 1996. He is the Director of Echocardiography and is actively engaged in Quality Assessment conferences for physicians and sonographers. He has recently served in several leadership roles at HCA Medical City Dallas Hospital, including previous Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Director of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Laboratory. Dr. Pieniek additionally serves on the Performance Improvement Committee for Cardiology at HCA Medical City Dallas Hospital.
