Lucas G. Bingham, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist experienced in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. At Coastal Hills Dermatology in Ladera Ranch, California, Dr. Bingham offers patients exceptional dermatologic care in a relaxed and friendly environment. With his depth of knowledge and compassion, Dr. Bingham treats patients of all ages for any condition of the skin, hair, and nails. Dr. Bingham began his studies at Brigham Young University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor in zoology. He went on to earn his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine followed by a transitional-year internship at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. After this, Dr. Bingham completed a three-year dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Passionate about helping patients both at home and abroad, Dr. Bingham has volunteered in Brazil, Italy, Ethiopia, and Kenya. He is also involved in research and leadership: publishing studies in several medical journals, presenting at national and international meetings, and serving as secretary of Community Dermatology International and as a reviewer for the “International Journal of Dermatology.” Dr. Bingham is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Dermatologic Society of Orange County, and the Pacific Dermatologic Society.
