Dr. Alwine was my family physician in the 1970\'s and 1980\'s. When I presented with intense headaches and other abnormal audio / visual symptoms it was Dr. Alwine\'s thorough investigative nature and superior diagnostic skills that led to the discovery of an obstructive colloid cyst in the third ventricle of my brain. He referred me to a capable neurosurgeon and following a craniotomy to remove the life threatening cyst I fully recovered and continue to lead a very productive, healthy lifestyle today, some 30 plus years later.
