Bio
Dr. Demosthenes has been with Greenville Ob/Gyn Associates for 17 years and was the first female Ob/Gyn in Greenville, SC. She was born in Philadelphia, Penn. and then moved to Charleston to attend the College of Charleston where she received her B.S. in Chemistry. She completed medical school and her residency training in Ob/Gyn at the Medical University of South Carolina where she graduated in 1985. Dr. Demosthenes is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Since moving to Greenville Dr. Demosthenes has participated in numerous community health programs and was recognized as one of the "Best Doctors in America" in 1995. She is an active participant in the Junior League, the Greenville Ballet Association and the American Cancer Society. She is married to Stephen Demosthenes and they have three children, Alex, Kristin and Nick. Her free time is largely spent in acivities with her children, though she does find time to work on her tennis game.
