Dr. Laura Rogers is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of San Diego, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2000. She earned her medical degree from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine in 2004, and also completed her Internal Medicine Residency there in 2007. She has received numerous awards for academic and clinical performance, including the Excellence in Research Award (2007); the Queen Emma Clinics Excellence in Ambulatory Medicine Award 2006); the Honors Award in Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery Psychiatry, and Family Practice Rotations (2003-2004); and the Outstanding Achievement Award for Research Presentation, University of San Diego Research and Internship Conference (2000). Her research has appeared has been published in World Scientific, the Hawaii Medical Journal, and Madroño. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Society, the American Academy of Physicians, and the American Medical Association.
