Dr. Kristine Slam graduated from University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in 2003. Dr. Slam completed a residency in General Surgery at University of Toledo from 2003 to 2008. Dr. Slam has two offices in Columbus and operates at several sites thoughout the city. As a dedicated Breast Surgeon, Dr. Slam is prepared to evaluate, diagnose, and provide a wide range of surgical interventions for all types of conditions affecting breast health, including breast cancer. As a Breast Surgeon, Dr. Slam can perform procedures such as minimally invasive breast biopsies, lumpectomies, sentinel node procedures and mastectomies. She is also skilled in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and nipple-sparing mastectomy. Dr. Slam is able to provide second opinions for those who have been diagnosed with an issue concerning breast health. Dr. Slam is also trained to practice General Surgery and serves at the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Mount Carmel East.
