Dr. Kenneth Son is a staff anesthesiologist at City of Hope. He also received an M.P.H. degree in Epidemiology from the St. Louis University School of Public Health. He was a General Medical Officer in the 1st Marine Division, 2/4 Marines in Ramadi, Iraq from 2003 through 2005, where he became interested in the use of acupuncture on the battlefield. He has published in this regard, and completed a course on Acupuncture for Physicians at UCLA.
As an anesthesiologist in Duarte, CA, Dr. Son ensures patients are free of pain before (pre-op), during, and after (post-op) a surgical procedure. By administering anesthesia, Dr. Son ensures that patients do not feel the pain of a surgical procedure.
